I am a University Assistant Professor (Unestablished) in the Faculty of Philosophy, University of Cambridge, and a fellow of Robinson College, where I am Director of Studies in philosophy and an undergraduate welfare tutor.

My philosophical interests are primarily in language, mind, and metaphysics. I think about what the world is like, how we can talk and think about the world, and how these two questions interact. I especially like thinking about this as it relates to our talk and thought about ethical and moral matters. You can find out more about my research here.

I have been a Visiting Professor of Philosophy at Central European University, Vienna (2023-24), a research fellow at Robinson College, Cambridge (2020-23) and a teaching fellow at University College London (2017-20).
